Terms of agreement.

  These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information.

2. Privacy Policy 

Magicoflight.ie  do not store and process any card information, we work with Stripe company. Stripe, Inc. is an Irish-American financial services and software as a service (SaaS) company dual-headquartered in South San Francisco, California, United States and Dublin, Ireland. The company primarily offers payment-processing software and application programming interfaces for e-commerce websites and mobile applications.  This speeds up authentication and boost security, giving shoppers a fast pass through checkout.

Cookies:
The cookies on this website do not gather a person’s name or email address and any data gathered by us is anonymised.

-Cookies are used to not only ensure our website functions correctly but also used to enhance your online shopping experience. They do this in the following way:
Improving the experience. 
Cookies help us to remember that you have visited our site before, therefore enabling us to be more personalised

3.Ordering

Browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input in your order up until the point at which you place your order by clicking the "Buy" button on the checkout page. If you submit an order for goods from magicoflight.ie website, this will be treated as order/contract between magicoflight.ie and the customer.

We will acknowledge confirmation of your order by sending you an automatically generated e-mail/text accepting your order. You will also receive an automatically generated e-mail/text about each step of your order (payment confirmation, delays, shipment etc.)

The order contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to the shopping basket.

You should read and check the details in the confirmation e-mail/text to ensure that all products and details are correct. If the details in the email/text confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details in the email/text, please contact us at info@magicoflight.ie

The contractual language is English.

Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with these Terms and Conditions.


4.Products

Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. 

Your product may vary slightly from those images. But we have tried to bring images as close as possible to real goods.

Please make sure that your measurements or specifications are accurate, before placing an order ,you are responsible for them. To avoid unjustified returns.


5.Delivery

The costs of delivery will be as advised to you during the check-out process, before you confirm your order. 

Shipping rates & delivery estimates are indicated in the section "Delivery". We will contact you with an estimated delivery date, which will be within the timescale indicated within the product details shown on our website.

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order on this site. We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods on any specified date we agree. If you give us incomplete or incorrect information about your delivery address, we may either end the contract or make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to compensate us for any extra work that is required as a result. We will not be responsible for supplying the products late or not supplying any part of them if this is caused by you not giving us the information we need within a reasonable time of us asking for it.

If you are not at home when the product is delivered. If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, we will make one further attempt to deliver the products to that address. If the second attempt fails, you will need to contact us to arrange re-delivery. 

When you become responsible for the product : You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you and we have received funds in full payment for the goods. Once goods have been delivered to you or a person nominated by you they will be held at your own risk and you will be responsible for them.


6.Price and payments.

6.1 Where to find the price for the product.  The price is indicated next to each product and the price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of product advised to you is correct. However please see clause 6.2 for what happens if we discover an error in the price of the product you order.

6.2. What happens if we got the price wrong. It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product's correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product's correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated on our website, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you.

6.3 When you must pay and how you must pay. You can pay for products either by bank transfer direct to the bank account nominated by us, by using a debit card or credit card. We accept the following cards: Master Card, Maestro Visa. And by logging in to our site, make payments through Stripe ( company that provides fast and secure payments). You must pay for the products before we dispatch them. 


7. Right to cancel. 

Exercising your right to change your mind (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). For most products bought online, you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund.

To return items, for no reason, it must be unused and in its original packaging, we must get it back within 14 days of receiving it and you must obtain our approval to return the product. You must then return the goods to our Magic Of Light store ( Dundalk, Williamson Mall Unit 10./A91NA43 ) on or before the 14th day after your notification to return. Unsuitable items can be accepted back for compensation only if they have not been used or installed and the light cord has not been cut. They must be returned with the original packaging to ensure that the product is not damaged on the way back.

If you wish to make a return, you can do this in the section "Return". Once we receive your returned order we will inspect all goods and any refunds will be processed within 14 days.  If you request a refund then the amount paid will be refunded back onto your original payment card. Please allow up to 14 days for the exchange/refund.

 If any goods are returned unwanted or incorrectly ordered by you, we will either exchange or refund provided that all goods are returned in a perfect, sellable condition within 14 days. Please note, no carriage refunds can be given.

All items used or returned outside the 14-day window will not be refunded, for no reason, unless the return/refund is approved by a member of our customer service team. G&A Magic of light reserves the right to refuse a refund for items deemed unsold. 

Missing parts or damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. If any parts are received broken, please contact us and we will resolve the issue.

 If any goods are returned unwanted or incorrectly ordered by you, we will either exchange or refund provided that all goods are returned in a perfect, sellable condition within 14 days. Please note, no carriage refunds can be given. 

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments, excluding the costs of delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. 

The cost of returning the unsuitable goods is at the expense of the customer. If G&A Magic of light is at fault we will cover the cost of the return.

8. Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if, for example:

-We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;

-Our merchant bank fraud department flag transaction as suspicious;  

-We do not deliver to your area;

-One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail/text and will credit your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card account not later than 14 days from the day cancellation was made.


9. Your right to make a changes

If you wish to make a change to the product you have ordered please contact us. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible, we will let you know about any changes to the price of the product, the timing of supply or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change, and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.


10. If there is a problem with the product.

11. Other important information

11.1 We may transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will contact you to let you know if we plan to do this. If you are unhappy with the transfer you may contact us to end the contract within 14 days of us telling you about it, and we will refund you any payments you have made in advance for products not provided.

11.2 You need our consent to transfer your rights to someone else. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person if we agree to this in writing.

11.3 Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

11.4 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

11.5 Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things, and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

11.6 We may update, vary and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Each time you order or otherwise purchase any goods from us, the Terms and Conditions in force at that time will apply (as set out on this site). Please check this site to ensure that you understand which Terms and Conditions apply.
